Our family of four decided on having an early dinner after going to the movies, so we decided to go to Smith's Landing Seafood. Our daughter recommended this place since she's been here before. We decided on ordering food from their Happy Hour Menu. We ordered Mussels Mariniere Frites, Fried Calamari, Shrimp Tacos, Tenderloin Tips Diablo, and Burger Sliders. Everything was so delicious, very fresh, and cooked to perfection! We loved everything we ate, and we were so stuffed we couldn't even eat dessert. We had never been to this restaurant before, and I'm so glad we went there. The staff were wonderful, kind, and professional. The weather was perfect so we ate outside. We will for sure be going back again! We highly recommend this restaurant! Please go, you won't be disappointed! I'm attaching a picture of their Happy Hour Menu for everyone to see. Dining at Smith's Landing was a memorable experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of historic Antioch, right at the marina, this restaurant truly lives up to its promise of being "The Delta’s Quintessential Waterfront Dining Experience." We visited just before Christmas 2024, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated, adding to the warm ambiance. Everything was clean, and the atmosphere was delightful, although due to our larger party, we were seated at a somewhat awkward table that was too small for the size of the circular booth and wobbled slightly. Nevertheless, the overall comfort and setting remained enjoyable. We started our meal with appetizers like the fried calamari, which was cooked perfectly—not chewy at all—but was slightly disappointing in terms of price and portion size. The clam chowder, though decent, was nothing extraordinary and seemed to have more bacon than clams. The entrees, however, truly stood out. The grilled lamb chops were cooked exactly as requested, perfectly tender, and paired beautifully with creamy mashed potatoes and crispy fried asparagus, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. The Cioppino was generously portioned and worth every penny; the sauce was exceptional, balancing out the seafood taste beautifully. Additionally, the Macadamia Crusted Alaskan Cod was simple yet delicious, perfectly flaky, and beautifully cooked. To conclude our meal, the Chocolate Decadence Gluten Free dessert (part of a special brunch menu) was an excellent choice. The deep chocolate flavor paired wonderfully with tart berry sauce and sweet cream—a satisfying treat for chocolate lovers. Throughout our visit, the service was outstanding, even though the staff was clearly busy attending other large parties and organizing a significant event in the adjacent event room. Smith's Landing isn't just a restaurant; it's truly a local gem offering an exceptional dining experience. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories! Smith's Landing Seafood Grill...In Antioch? Antioch...I said...Is it safe, and that's when she slugged me. After catching my breath I said you'd better be right about the Crab Louie being the best ever or you'll get slugged in the belly too. Well, I went to Antioch and pulled up to Smith's Landing like I owned it, walked in and was greeted like a long lost relative, what a welcoming and warm place...And, another thing..she was right about the Crab Louie. It was Spectacular!
